Is it really BAD luck to see the bride before the wedding, and what ‘were’ the consequences?
I’m asking about a small controversy about wedding customs. I wanted to
know how bad is “bad” luck of seeing the bride before the wedding and
what were the consequences and results of such situations. Like some
husbands to be wanted to approve of a particular wedding gown, to just
flying in the face of tradition and custom.
I ask about has anyone seen the bride before
the wedding, in her wedding gown, and what
were the situations? Did the honeymoon turn out
to be perfect, or did the husband watch TV from
the recliner right off the bat?
I don’t really believe in superstitions but I think it is really exciting for the groom to have to wait to see the bride until he sees her approaching him from the aisle. I always thought that was really romantic. My fiance and I have made a pact that he can’t see my gown before the wedding, he is really into it he loves surprises! But there is certainly nothing wrong if the bride wants to show the groom her gown or if he wants to see it. Different strokes for different folks! 
If the groom seeing the bride before the wedding would ruin or curse the marriage, the couple has deeper problems than they know. Seeing the bride is not going to ruin anything. Maybe the surprise but that is it.
